Danish Crown has changed the structure of its fresh pork division in a move designed to deliver “even better synergies” for the business.
The new structure has resulted in DC Pork being divided into the following four independent business areas:
- DC Pork B2B
- DC Pork Denmark
- DC Fleisch
- KLS Ugglarps
“Even better synergies will result from revising the organisational structure slightly,” said the company, adding that the management of DC Pork Denmark, DC Fleisch and KLS Ugglarps remained unchanged while Søren F. Eriksen has been named as CEO of the newly established business area, DC Pork B2B.
Danish Crown’s UK deboning and bacon plant in Bugle is placed within DC Pork B2B alongside six pig slaughterhouses in Denmark, the sow slaughterhouse in Skærbæk and the deboning departments in Poland and Germany.
The company added that Mr Eriksen’s first task will be to “organise DC Pork B2B within the defined areas of responsibility”.
