RSPCA Assured has appointed Clive Brazier as its new chief executive, six months after he became the organisation’s acting chief executive.
“RSPCA Assured is unique in being the only food labelling and farm assurance scheme solely dedicated to improving farm animal welfare,” he said, adding that he was honoured to be given the opportunity to lead the charity in its mission of helping farm animals have a better life.
“I want to ensure we have a strategy that enables us to help as many farm animals as possible. With around 42 million farm animals currently on the RSPCA Assured scheme, I am confident that by continuing to work closely with with farmers, retailers and foodservice, we will have added a further 100 million by 2020.”
Prior to joining RSPCA Assured, Mr Brazier (pictured above) worked with Tesco, the DSGI Group (Dixons and PC World) and NAAFI (the Navy and Army Forces Institute).
