A food hall is aiming to smash a world record by getting more people eating sausage rolls in the same place than ever before.
The Suffolk Food Hall, which is holding the event to mark its tenth birthday, is hoping the offer of a free sausage roll will attract lots of new visitors.
They are appealing for people to visit the venue near Ipswich, to help them make sausage roll history on Saturday, May 6, at 1pm.
Oliver Paul, one of the founders of the business, told the Ipswich Star: “The sausage roll has been handmade by the Suffolk Food Hall since its first day, so is a fitting part of the celebrations and something all can enjoy for free outside in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking the River Orwell.”
