From tomorrow (November 11), all Red Tractor pork members will need to have entered data from the second and third quarters of 2017 onto the eMB-Pigs database.
Under changes to scheme rules announced earlier this year, producers are required to upload total antibiotic use to the electronic medicine book on a quarterly basis within six weeks of the end of each quarter.
Red Tractor assessors will need to view the data during inspection visits, so where producers rely on their vet or other third party to enter the data, they are reminded to keep a printed copy available on farm.
