Paul Penny has joined Ceva Animal Health to help develop and expand the company’s pig product portfolio.
Having spent more than 25 years in commercial, technical and scientific roles within the pig industry, Paul (pictured) has been named as Ceva’s UK swine manager.
A graduate of Usk Agricultural College and the University of Aberdeen, where he gained a Masters degree, Paul ran his own company for seven years, developing innovative technologies for both animal and human markets. Prior to that, he worked for JSR Genetics Ltd as head of its Bio-Innovations division.
Ceva’s managing director, Alan Doyle, said the appointment was a sign of its commitment to being a leading company in the UK pig industry.
“Our new innovations and the increasing demand from our customers led us to look for a key addition to our team,” he said, adding that Paul will play a “major role in providing and implementing high quality solutions for our clients”.
