The 2014 British Association of Feed Supplement and Additive Manufacturers (BAFSAM) Feed Additive Conference will take place on April 29 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull (B92 0EJ).
Speakers at the conference this year include: Didier Jans of FEFANA (Opportunities and threats for feed additives and functional feed material); Ray Smith of the FSA (Current and future regulatory challenges); Lisa Allen, the REACH Ready Technical Manager at the Chemical Industries Association (Hazard evaluation and labelling of feed ingredients – practical implications); Euginio Butelli of the John Innes Centre at Norwich ( Opportunities for nutritionally enhanced GM food and feed); Kathy Groves of Leatherhead Food Research (Nanotechnology – friend or foe?); and Philippe Becquet of DSM Nutritional Products (Sustainability & environmental impact of feed additives – what does the future hold).
The meeting is to non-BAFSAM members at a cost of £50, which includes lunch.
