More than 100 delegates have already confirmed they will be attending the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Outlook Conference 2014.
Jointly hosted by BPEX, DairyCo and EBLEX, the conference will be held at One Great George Street in London on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, and remaining places are being snapped up.
The three livestock divisions of AHDB, representing pigs, dairy, and beef and sheep, along with AHDB Market Intelligence, will host a programme exploring factors that will affect businesses in their respective sectors.
It will include an opening address from Food and Farming Minister George Eustice MP; a keynote presentation on supply chain matters by McDonald’s director of supply chain Connor McVeigh; and a presentation on international trade by GIRA director Richard Brown.
The conference will also examine how the UK industry can respond to emerging opportunities and threats, while separate breakout sessions looking at latest forecasts specific to each sector.
AHDB market specialist manager and conference programme organiser, Stephen Howarth, said the Outlook Conference had always been a popular event in the industry calendar and demand to attend this year’s event was again proving to be very strong.
“With only a few weeks left until the conference, I would urge anyone wanting to attend to book now to avoid disappointment,” he added.
The conference, which costs £180, can be booked online at: http://outlookconference2014.eventbrite.co.uk
