The 2024 Pig & Poultry Fair, which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham for the first time next May, is now open for new exhibitor bookings.
Event organiser Alice Bell said the NEC, where the Fair will occupy over 5 acres of well-connected indoor floor space, is proving popular with exhibitors, with space already nearly 90% sold.
She urged suppliers to the pig and poultry sectors who have products and services for producers and the wider supply chain are invited to get in touch and apply for stand space.
“Divided into poultry, pig and mixed zones the floorplan offers something for everyone, from small modular stands to large open island stands – although these are now becoming limited,” she said.
Partnered by ABN the Fair, which takes place every two years, is free for visitors to attend – the last one hosted over 340 exhibitors and attracting over 7,500 visitors. It is a must attend event for everyone in the industry wanting to keep up to date, Ms Bell added.
“We are very excited to welcome visitors and exhibitors to the next Fair at the NEC. Stand space is already nearly 90% sold, with strong support from the industry,” she added.
“At the 2022 event, it was clear the Fair is a valuable opportunity to gather ideas and speak to others, so even when times are tough, the industry clearly values coming together to plan ahead.”
For producers the Fair is renowned as the place to find the latest ideas and solutions to take home and implement on their own farms – 78% of visitors to the last event planned to make changes to their business as a result of attending and 93% rated their visit as good or excellent.
“There really is nowhere else to hear from so many experts, meet leading producers, see suppliers and find out what is new, all in one day, under one roof,” Ms Bell said.
