AgroVision, the provider of agricultural technology solutions, has announced the merger with international agricultural software solution provider AgriSyst.
AgroVision and AgriSyst joining forces represents a step towards creating a powerhouse in the agricultural technology sector, the companies said.
This merger underlines AgroVision’s goal to supporting the agricultural community with tools that enhance productivity and sustainability.
Both partners in the joint company will aim to deliver software solutions that meet the needs of farmers across Europe, enabling them to make well-informed decisions to influence emissions and shaping a better farm economy.
Jacob Rasmussen, CEO of AgroVision, said: “I am thrilled to welcome AgriSyst into the AgroVision family. This merger is a testament to our commitment to advancing agricultural technology and supporting farmers in their vital work.
“With the combined strengths of both companies, we are positioned to deliver better, more innovative solutions to our customers, helping them thrive in a challenging environment.”
With a local presence in most European countries, the companies are combining to give farmers access to technological advancements and support, helping them overcome the challenges posed by modern agriculture.
The new company will remain focused on local service while maintaining a larger innovations capacity when creating innovative software for the agricultural industry.
The current management team of AgriSyst will take on leading roles in the joint company.
Marc Cox, CEO of AgriSyst added: “We see this cooperation as an opportunity, because by joining forces, we continue to ensure that we maintain and build on our technological and innovation strength at the same speed as now.
“This is how we create long-term continuity. Something we owe to our customers and ourselves. Because we are now becoming a global player of stature in the pig industry, we can respond to rapid and complex technological developments to the maximum extent.
“And this cooperation offers the possibility to do that while retaining our core qualities and even offers the opportunity to expand them even further.”
