Former BPEX director, Mick Sloyan, has taken on the post of pork strategy director under the on-going reorganisation at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), it has been reported by the National Pig Association (NPA).
While this new post is seen as being the “most similar” to his former position with BPEX, the NPA report also revealed that Mr Sloyan (pictured above) has told AHDB Pork board members that he will not be applying for any other post created by the reorganisation.
“The pork strategy director’s role will be to ensure the AHDB Pork board’s business plan is faithfully implemented and that the benefits promised for the new structure at AHDB are delivered in practise,” commented NPA.
