Rattlerow Farms, a leader in UK pig production, is looking for an experienced Finishing Production Manager to oversee our indoor finishing farms. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finishing operations across owned and third-party farms, ensuring optimal pig performance.
- Lead, develop, and support farm managers and their teams to maintain high standards in pig welfare, productivity, and compliance.
- Manage farm performance KPIs, budgets, and cost controls, identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety, Farm Assurance, and Biosecurity Standards.
- Build strong relationships with third-party farmers (Agistors) to enhance finishing operations and ensure high welfare standards.
- Oversee transport logistics for pigs from farm to abattoir, working closely with internal teams and third-party providers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in pig production or livestock management.
- Proven leadership experience in an agricultural setting.
- Good understanding of farm performance metrics, budgets, and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with farm teams and third-party partners.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for improving efficiency and performance.
