We are looking for an experienced and exceptional individual to lead North Farm Livestock’s Breeding farms. As we grow our business, we are looking for an applicant who will continue to drive high-performance standards across our Breeding operation and support its growth and development as we move forward.
Joining North Farm Livestock’s senior leadership team, our Breeding Director will have significant experience in outdoor-breeding operations and in leadership positions. The successful applicant will be comfortable discussing both technical aspects of stock keeping practice and broader business strategy for Breeding farms.
This role requires the successful candidate to lead across all of our Breeding farms and may therefore require travel in the region and beyond. The successful candidate will be expected to be regularly on-site at our Breeding farms, meetings in varying locations and NFL offices.
The remuneration package for this role includes an attractive salary to be discussed upon application, work vehicle, performance related bonuses and other benefits.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead, motivate & manage the Breeding team & liaise with the Executive Team to ensure team performance & morale are at the required level
- Drive exceptional performance from NFL Breeding farms and ensure stock keeping standards of the highest quality are maintained
- Support high-standards of stock keeping and staff development by visiting farms to assess performance, demonstrate best practice and support where required
- Work with the Executive Team to develop and implement a strategy for evolving practice on NFL Breeding farms, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve this
- Work with the Executive Team to develop North Farm Livestock’s Breeding operation with additional farms and staff
