What you’ll do:
- Work on a weekly system with a breeding herd of 900-sow indoor unit to ensure health and wellbeing standards are met and exceeded from farrowing through to finishing.
- Selecting Gilts for 9 farms’ supply.
- Daily responsibilities include feeding, vaccinating, moving, and handling of livestock.
- Load and unload pigs as required.
- Ensuring timely completion and maintenance of pig data and records.
- Maintaining the good condition of the site.
- Operate farm machines and equipment (training is provided)
What we are looking for:
- Experience with livestock and an agricultural background is preferred BUT not essential.
- A genuine passion for the pig industry and a commitment to animal welfare.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize duties effectively.
- You must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and consistently strive to exceed expectations.
