General Farm Worker – Ref 1700 Essex

We’re recruiting for a General Farm Worker for a farm in Essex, CO16.

Our client is looking to employ a general stockperson to work on their family farm. The farm has a small outdoor pig unit, which they want to increase, plus poultry.

They seek someone with good pig experience and dedication who enjoys variety in their work.

Job description:

• All aspects of the day-to-day running of the stock and farm
• Animal welfare
• Fencing
• Maintenance of land
• Pen rotation
• Stock rotation
• Weaning
• Feeding & watering
• Artificial insemination
• General farm work
• Operating tractors and telehandlers

The right candidate must be confident and happy to work alone.

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE

Hours:

Full-time. Working Monday – Saturday (Saturday feeding and checks only). No Sundays.
