There is still a week left to get your entry in for the 2020 National Pig Awards!
The entry deadline has been extended to Friday, July 17 to give hard-pressed producers or those nominating them more time to get their submissions in during this difficult period.
To submit an entry or nominate somebody and see the category full information and judging criteria, visit: www.nationalpigawards.co.uk
If you know an individual or business that deserves an award but you don’t have the time to submit a nomination, you can send their contact details to elle@lewisbusinessmedia.co.uk and we will ask them to complete the entry form. We just require their contact details and the category you are nominating them for.
Nominations in other awardsÂ
Nominations are open in various awards that will be presented on the night.
- NPA Allied Industry Member of the Year Award – the NPA is asking members to nominate an allied industry company that you deal with that has ‘gone above and beyond over the past year and deserves recognition’ for this award by July 17. A shortlist, made up of these nominations, will then be voted on to find a winner in an online poll. CLICK HERE to nominate.
- NPA Chris Brant Award – nominations are open for this award, which recognises those, often unsung heroes, who have gone the ‘extra mile’ for the industry. The award was won last year by Wayland’s Colin Stone. The deadline is July 31. CLICK HERE for more details and to nominate.
- David Black Award – nominations are also open for the David Black Award, awarded to an individual or organisation that has made an outstanding impact on the British pig sector during the course of their work and won last year by NPA chairman Richard Lister. The deadline is August 31. You can submit your nomination HERE
