A pig feed survey has been launched by the National Pig Association (NPA) to gather hard facts and figures on what producers are paying.
“Everyone else in the food chain thinks NPA members are buying feed at current low prices, and we know many aren’t,” said NPA, adding that, if there is a good response to the survey, it will take the matter further.
“The results will be used in NPA’s 2016 Keep It Up! campaign, which will use robust data to demonstrate to the rest of the food chain why the British premium is justified and should be maintained.”
