AHDB Pork is hosting an online webinar that will provide producers with the opportunity to learn about a range of building technologies and techniques that could help improve the bottom line on Monday, November 9.
The webinar will be hosted by AHDB Pork’s new head of research and development and knowledge exchange, Nigel Penlington, and environment and building research coordinator Susan Rabbich.
AHDB Pork’s aim is to help provide producers with a “tool box” of new technologies and techniques to help improve resource efficiency and consistency of production.
The webinar will provide an insight to the workings of a pH slurry reduction system, straw distribution robots and the Intellifarm concept for pig buildings that uses the smart farm concept of building design, ventilation, climate control and air cleaning.
The webinar starts at 18:00 and lasts for an hour. There’s an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
It’s free to take part, and you can sign-up via: http://pork.ahdb.org.uk/events/ahdb-pork-webinars/2015/technologies-and-techniques-to-improve-the-bottom-line/
