The second of two virtual NPA Spring Regional meetings takes place tonight, April 20, at 7pm, with a range of important industry topics to be discussed.
Items on the agenda include:
- The current situation in the pig market
- The future of farrowing crates
- The latest on Brexit
- The NPA’s responses to various important consultations, including on Red Tractor standards and Welfare in Transport rules.
As well as presentations from NPA staff, there will be plenty of opportunity for members to ask questions. The first meeting, which took place last week, saw a lengthy and constructive discussion, in particular, on the future of farrowing crates.
As last year, the meetings will have similar agendas and will be open to all members, regardless of region.
“There is so much going on at the moment, these meetings really are not to be missed,” the NPA says on its website.
