Pork will be featured on AHDB’s promotional stand at this month’s Anuga food fair in Cologne; the first time for “many years” that it has been part of the organisation’s programme at the massive global event.
Widely acknowledged as the world’s leading food fair for the retail and foodservice market, Anuga will feature 6,800 exhibitors, including 850 meat sector firms, and around 155,000 delegates, drawn from 200 countries.
“Anuga provides us with the ideal platform to highlight some of the innovative work we are doing in product development, as well as supporting our exports,” said AHDB pork export manager, Susana Morris.
During the event, which runs from October 10 to 14, AHDB promotions will incude pulled pork and sausages, while people having meetings on the organisation’s stand will also be offered charcuteries.
The 240sq m stand is being staged jointly by AHDB Beef & Lamb and AHDB Pork while the official British Meat Dinner, supported by the two AHDB divisions, will provide guests from the global meat and food industry with the opportunity to sample beef, lamb and pork dishes.
