A range of materials, produced by AHDB and NPA, can now be ordered for display at farms, abattoirs, feed mills and haulage companies, as well as on trucks.
Available materials include a poster providing advice on best practice across the supply chain, A4 size farm gate signs that warn ‘Dirty vehicles will be turned away’ and a ‘I’m a #MuckFreeTrucker’ cab stickers.
The poster and sign are available to order NOW from comms@ahdb.org.uk and will be posted as soon as they arrive in stores.
NPA will have the cab stickers available shortly and will ensure AHDB has plenty to send out with any poster orders they receive. You can also get them direct from NPA by emailing npa@npanet.org.uk.
The #MuckFreeTruck campaign, which is driven by the NPA and AHDB with support from the British Meat Processors Association, the Pig Veterinary Society, the British Pig Association and Red Tractor, has been endorsed by Defra Chief Veterinary Christine Middlemiss.
NPA chief executive Zoe Davies said: “While there are plenty of examples of good practice across the supply chain, there are still too many areas that need improvement and we are attempting to use this campaign to unearth where the issues still are and raise awareness of the importance of clean vehicles.
“So order your materials now and make sure everyone knows what’s required. As the campaign says, spread the word, not the disease!”
