The NPA is advertising for a new CEO to replace Zoe Davies, who is leaving the association after 14 years in July to take up a new role with the NFU.
The advert describes the role as ‘rare and exciting opportunity at what could not be a more critical time for the pig industry’.
“We are looking for an experienced and passionate leader to assist the NPA Board in shaping and delivering the future role of the NPA in an ever-changing landscape and confidently represent British pig producers in Westminster and with processors, foodservice and retailers, and to the media,” it says.
“The role will put the successful candidate at the heart of fast-moving representational politics at a time of unprecedented change for this iconic sector.
“You will be responsible for leading and supporting a small but highly effective team known across the livestock industry for its ability to punch well above its weight and to go ‘above and beyond’ in support of its members.”
