The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) has appointed Dr Susannah Bolton as its knowledge exchange director.
She will be responsible for the uptake of science on farm and in supply chains through the development and delivery of co-ordinated knowledge exchange across the six agricultural sectors that AHDB operates.
Previously head of crop production systems at AHDB, Dr Bolton (pictured above) will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of R&D projects and associated knowledge exchange activities.
“The ambition is for AHDB to have a more sustained and positive impact on agriculture and horticulture businesses by identifying innovation and ensuring its uptake and the development of best practice on farm and in the supply chain,” she said. “My challenge is to make that ambition a reality.”
