BPEX has announced some changes in responsibility for some of its personnel that will take effect this autumn.
The current knowledge transfer (KT) manager for the South, Charlotte West, has been appointed as technical innovation manager, while the KT team leader and KT manaer for the North, Steve Winfield, is taking on a national KT key account management role.
As a result, Richard Bows, who is currently KT manager in the East will be moving to become the KT manager for the North. Two new KT managers will bew recruited to join the team covering the South and East.
BPEX is also in the process of recruiting a field trials coordinator, an environment and building business support team member and a veterinarian.
The organisation’s head of technical, Andrew Knowles, said BPEX had undergone a major reorganisation to meet the changing needs of the industry and its customers.Â
“In order to deliver the new BPEX Going for Growth strategy, we have created some exciting new opportunities within a newly established technical team.,” he added, “however the overall size of the team is smaller than the previous structure as part of BPEX’s commitment to deliver value for money to its customers.”
