The new chief executive of Meadow Quality (MQ), the Warwickshire-based livestock marketing business, is Matt Nightingale.
A multi-species operation, including a significant pig marketing business, MQ say the appointment fits with their plans to develop a number of key longer term supply chains for livestock producers, while also building on their “successful livestock trading model”.
Previously employed by Genus plc, where he led their southern division, Mr Nightingale added that he was joining MQ at an exciting time for the business.
“I want to build new partnerships for the business and develop opportunities for livestock farmers post CAP reform,” he said.
