The renowned British Pig & Poultry Fair forums will be appearing online for the first time in May.
While the physical event will not be held this year, after being unable to go ahead last year due to COVID-19, the technical forums will take place online on May 12.
“The Fair is known as the place to find ideas,” said Alice Bell, event organiser. “While we can’t meet in person we will be bringing a line up of top speakers and leading advice to your screens, at home on May 12.”
Partnered by ABN, the programme for the day will include the popular pig, poultry meat and egg outlooks, plus a number of technical sessions including from AHDB’s experts, all of which will be free to attend live via the Fair website.
“The Fair is a hugely important event for the industry and we are delighted to be partnering the Online Fair Forums in 2021,” said Danny Johnson, ABN Commercial Director. “At ABN we are committed to helping producers improve performance on farm and that is exactly what these forums will be offering in 2021.”
With the next live edition of the Fair taking place on May 10 & 11 May 2022, the Royal Agricultural Society of England wanted to support the industry and provide a chance for producers and the wider sector to come together virtually in 2021.
