Red Tractor scheme members are reminded that antibiotic data for the fourth quarter of 2017 must be uploaded onto the eMB-Pigs database by this Sunday, February 11.
In a post on the NPA forum, Simon Watchorn, a Suffolk pig producer and AHDB Pork board member, asks: “Have you filled in your AM usage onto eMB yet? In a very short time (by Feb 11), Q2, Q3 and Q4 for 2017 should have been uploaded.
“There are no excuses, you and everyone else do know that this data must be entered.”
He adds: “By not filling in your data you are in breach of the RT Standards.”

Why February 11 matters
Under changes to the Red Tractor scheme introduced in October 2017, antibiotic data must be uploaded on a quarterly basis onto the eMB-Pigs electronic medicines book within six weeks from the last day of the quarter.
A total of 9% of Red Tractor Pork scheme members incurred non-conformances as a result of not uploading data from quarters 2 and 3 of 2017 by the November 11 deadline.
Quarter 4 data must now be uploaded by February 11, 2018.
