Red Tractor will be hosting a live webinar later this month to explain more about the recent changes to its inspection regime.
The discussion on Monday, January 21 will cover why the new regime has been introduced, what it means for producers and why robust compliance is pivotal to the Red Tractor scheme. It is open to all Red Tractor members and industry stakeholders.

The risk-based regime, which categorises scheme members and the nature of their inspections in terms of their perceived risk of non-compliance with scheme standards. You can read more about it here
Red Tractor pork chairman Mike Sheldon said: “The purpose of the new risk-based approach to Red Tractor assessments is to encourage all producers to meet the standards first time. The standards themselves have not changed under this approach – rather this is about getting closer to our ambition of: every producer, every standard, every day.”
