The Nuffield Farming Trust has issued a reminder to prospective scholars that this year’s deadline for applications is now a little over two weeks away.
Pointing out that the Trust’s 2017 scholars will receive increased funding of £12,000, compared to last year, Nuffield director, Mike Vacher, said the online application process was straight-forward to complete and that the “Nuffield family” was on hand to provide support and guidance if required.
“Not only does the Scholarship provide generous financial support, it also offers training, worldwide contacts, briefing at a national level, attendance at an international conference in Brazil and other priceless lifetime experiences,” he said.
Applications are open to anyone aged between 22 and 45, with a pre-requisite that potential scholars must work within the United Kingdom farming, food, horticulture, rural and associated industries or have in a position to influence those industries.
The deadline for applications is July 31, 2016.
