Trouw Nutrition GB has announced the appointment of Pippa Handley to its Ashbourne-based technical support team in a move to help meet the growing demands for high-quality customer support.
Ms Handley joins the company after four years with AHDB Pork where she served as Senior Knowledge Exchange Manager, responsible for managing the regional KE team delivering against the Farm Excellence platform.
Beofer that she served as Knowledge Transfer Manager, and was heavily involved in the EU PiG Project which supported farm innovation in health, welfare, precision and meat quality.
Before joining AHDB she worked as a senior research manager at ADAS for six years, with a focus in nutraceutical, vet pharmaceutical, parasiticide and residue trials. She has a BSc in animal biology from Nottingham Trent University.
Ms Handley said of her new roles as Monogastric Product Manager: “I will be responsible for managing the Selko feed additive portfolio for pig and poultry across GB, working closely with colleagues in GB and across Europe to deliver tailored solutions to optimise production through supporting gut health, improving immune response and enhancing the animal’s ability to deal with disease challenges.”
