YNPA Challenge 22, which will see Young NPA members collectively travel 1000 miles by foot, bike or hoof to raise money for the charity Young Minds, is underway.
The challenge will last for three weeks, ending on September 23. The aim is to raise a minimum of £1000 for Young Minds, the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health.
We have set up a Just Giving page for you to share amongst family and friends and we suggest an entry donation of £5 to get involved but this is voluntary.
Taking part
You can do as few or as many miles as you feel comfortable with, we don’t want you to feel that this is a competition and that you must complete a set amount of miles each day, every mile counts!
There will also be a prize for the best fancy dress, so if you fancy donning a silly outfit then make sure you send us a picture.
To sign up please email Andrea (Andrea.Tranter@NPAnet.org.uk) and also indicate if you are happy to join the YNPA Challenge 22 WhatsApp group.
Sponsors wanted!
We are on the look out for sponsors, for example, to back a ‘Super Saturday’, something that successfully boosted the running total last year.
Again, contact Andrea if you are interested.
Last year’s YNPA Challenge covered more than 1,500 miles, raising around £3,000 for the Farming Community Network (FCN).
