Animal feed manufacturer BOCM PAULS International has increased its representation in the Russian Federation with the appointment of Ilya Vysotsky as new business manager working from the Moscow offices of subsidiary company OOO BOCM PAULS.Â
He joins general manager Mikhail Kondrashov; sales manager Sergey Golubchenko; commercial nutritionist Viorica Popa; and business development manager Gwyn Jones at the firm and will initially be involved with established pig nutrition accounts, while also identifying opportunities in the ruminant feed market.
A graduate of Moscow Veterinary Academy, Mr Vysotsky joins the company from dairy products manufacturer Danone, where he was responsible for sourcing milk for its Chekhov plant. Before that he was manager of a feed mill operated by Cargill animal nutrition subsidiary GPK Efremovsky, where he had responsibility for formulation and the overall manufacturing operation including sourcing new materials for a range of dairy foods and pig and poultry concentrates – as well as being involved with the sales and marketing of the finished products.
Prior to taking up his appointment with BOCM PAULS, Mr Vysotsky visited the company’s feed mill at Bury St Edmunds and met the management and technical specialists he will be dealing with in his new position.
“This key appointment marks a further step forward in our decision to develop one of the largest markets in the world,” BOCM PAULS International director Tony Suckling said. “We established the subsidiary company to ensure that customer care and technical support for both distributors and customers will be of the highest order and will supplement our increased efforts to develop the potential of the market.”
