Luiza Pazini has joined Ceva UK’s swine team, as a veterinary services specialist.
Ms Pazini has a few years experience in the swine farming industry, having come from a pig farming background in Brazil, then graduating as a vet from the University of Lusofona de Humanidades e Tecnologias in Portugal, in 2020.
She then worked as a swine vet in East Anglia, for almost two years, before most recently joining Ceva – where she will be responsible for providing veterinary technical support to Ceva’s customers in the UK and IE.
Ms Pazini’s focus will be predominantly on the Ceva Lung Program service that is offered to vets and producers, which includes conducting lung analysis in the slaughterhouse plus supporting respiratory vaccine usage. As part of the programme the Ceva team wish to demonstrate how their vaccine range, which includes DUO and Coglapix, can improve a pig’s lung health.
