Pig farm building specialists Finrone Systems has announced the death of the company’s boss Gordon Forbes.
In a statement, the company said: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our company leader Gordon Forbes.
“Gordon passed away peacefully in the early hours of Thursday February 2 surrounded by his family.
“Husband to Sharon, father to Calvin, Russell, Emma and Alice, Gordon is known by many in the pig industry over the last 30 years as an innovator and friend.
“Gordon’s enthusiasm for the pig sector was evidently clear and his relationship with customers was one of friendship and trust.
“Gordon was known for his larger than life persona and was regarded by many in the industry for his knowledge and willingness to offer help and solutions. He was a respected leader and will be missed by all the team at Finrone Systems.”
