An escaped pig caused travel chaos on the M62 motorway on Tuesday evening.
Traffic was stopped in both directions on the motorway near Wakefield and Huddersfield due to the animal in the road, according to a report in the Yorkshire post.
The animal was first spotted walking along the M62 at about 7.40pm, before Highways England closed the road in both directions. An hour-long police chase ensued as officers went to capture the animal, before the road slowly reopened, the article reported.
The same animal is thought to have caused traffic problems on Monday morning before it slipped off the motorway and got away.
The pig is reported to have escaped from a moving truck on the same stretch of motorway on Monday.
