An exploration of business opportunities in China and other Asian markets, with a specialist breakout session covering pig sector interests, will be one of the key features of AHDB’s outlook conference in February next year.
The event, which will also examine the business impact of changing consumer trends in the UK, will be held at One Great George Street, London, on Wednesday February 11.
Hosted by the three livestock divisions of the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) – EBLEX, BPEX and DairyCo, the conference will “explore factors that affect delegates’ businesses in their respective sectors”.
Keynote speakers will include Future Foundation’s Richard Nicholls, who will look at how changes to consumer preferences may influence the market for livestock products over the next 2-5 years; and the Institute of Grocery Development’s Asia-Pacific manager, Nick Miles, whose focus will be on how markets in Asia are changing and what that means for UK exports.
